About blog

What is the content of the ART / PLAY / LIFE blog? The answer is simple.

APL blog contains texts and images about art, art of living and the joy of playing.

In this moment, at the beginning of activity of APL blog, only in the ART section there is content. Other sections, PLAY and LIFE, are empty at the moment, but soon there will be a lot of interesting posts.

In the ART section are presented my haiku images – handmade collages, visual interpretations of haiku poems of old Japanese masters (Basho, Buson, Kikaku, Yamei and Hokushi).

Otherwise, the content of APL blog will be evolving constantly. It will change depending on the reactions of visitors and changes of my interests and ideas.

And finally, today I want to tell you: GO AND VISIT Haiku images gallery.

Mihovil Rismondo

Born in 1950 in Split, Croatia.

Author of haiku images (triptychs), visual interpretations of haiku poems.

Former water-polo player, graduate economist, college professor, manager.

Attached to the haiku poems, Basho and Vladimir Devide for about 40 years, especially to Devide’s book “Japanese Haiku Poetry and its Cultural and Historical Framework”. Fell in love with the haiku poetry at first sight and is still in love. Indeed, it is getting stronger.

Had solo exhibition of collages from the cycle “My Silba” in Silba, Split and Zadar.

In 2019, he had solo exhibition of collages – triptychs from the Haiku images cycle in Split.
